This is my arrangement of the song "War Has Never Been So Much Fun", from Sensible Software's 1993 Amiga game Cannon Fodder, for native playback on the SNES.

The audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES deck.

Cannon Fodder was actually ported to the SNES (PAL-only, though!), and it was a great port, but I'll never forget how disappointed I was when I realized that the theme song was missing all of the vocals!

Here's my attempt to fix that. The whole song fit, though just barely! And thank God for the SNES's FIR filter, because you really don't want to hear what those vocal samples sound like at this low of a sample rate without it!

I was pretty happy with how it came out, especially since the words are still fairly intelligible! For the video, the FMV was recorded from the Game Boy Color port, and the game play is all straight from the SNES game.

Hope you enjoy this bit of randomness!
