War Thunder: American B-17G and why bombing is broken
Here is another replay from War Thunder.
This is an example of why bombing is very broken in War Thunder.
I flew the B17G the entire match, bombing 17 ground targets and the base.
Only making a little over 16k Lions. This aircraft has a 25k+ repair bill. So even though I did not get shot down, nor did I take any damage, and spent the entire mission bombing there was no way I would earn enough to cover my repair bill.
I fighter at equal level needs to kill maybe 2 aircraft in dog fighting, and it will cover the repair cost. IE the P51.
