Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne is the first official addition to the third part of the famous strategic series by Blizzard Entertainment. The action of this add-on was again set in the fantastic land of Azeroth, a few months after the battle on Mount Hyjal, in which Archimonde and the Burning Legion were defeated. The plot revolves around attempts to find the ruler of the Undead named Ner'zhul, resting in an ice tomb on the continent of Northrend. The Death Knight Arthas and the elven renegade Illdian. We start the new campaign with the Night Elf race, then we switch to Humans, and we end with the Undead race. A separate campaign with its own separate story has been prepared for the Orcs. The developers have enriched each of the originally available races with a new hero with several unique abilities. For example, Humans gained a Blood Mage from the Blood Elf race (previously known as the High Elf race), who has the powerful AoE spell "Flame Strike". In addition, there are a number of previously unseen units that use their own skills and magic spells, e.g. people have gained the "Spell Breaker" unit. In addition, there is the possibility of hiring neutral heroes and building shops with useful combat accessories. The whole thing is complemented by three bonus landscape schemes (including: Sunken Ruins and Ice Crown), new items (Moonstone or Tiny Great Hall) as well as new building upgrades and new neutral buildings. Multiplayer enthusiasts have not been forgotten either and they have a wide range of additional maps at their disposal, along with an improved scenario editor. Numerous innovations have also appeared on servers operating within the Battle.net network.
