And this is the problem with inconsistent chapter lengths. About ten minutes in, Chapter 14 is finished, and we've completed part IV. Which would have been a perfect time to stop... yesterday. Oh well. Still, that leaves us with the final part, stop the chaos invasion.

And it disappoints. Oh sure, there's some cool stuff, such as having the Blood Ravens help out on one long bridge section. But when we get to that last boss fight, it's waves of enemies followed by a QTE. QTEs for final bosses are one of the ultimate let-downs. "But it's cinematic!" But it plays like crap. Nobody likes Simon Says as a finale mechanic. You've build up to this grand fight, and then THAT drops like a wet turd, splatting on the sidewalk and coating everyone's shoes. QTE final bosses are awful. And, of course, a little bit of sequel baiting, no answers given, someone having genuine concerns is treated as the bad guy - because that's always a fun trope. The ending fit with this mediocre game. Nothing that stands out, everything just as you could predict. The entire thing just feels empty. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
