Let’s play Wario’s Woods, a criminally overlooked puzzle game for the Super Nintendo! Toad needs to line up bombs with monsters of the same color in order to clear them all out.

In this mode, we’ll be progressing through various pre-arranged stages. During fairy time, when Birdo is on the screen, a fairy will drop bombs for us to use. The fairy time meter slowly drains as time goes on, but it can be refilled by setting off chain reactions. Once it’s gone, Wario appears. He will usually drop monsters instead of bombs, and he’ll shake the Thwomp ceiling down. We can get rid of him faster by setting off chain reactions.

I never beat this mode as a child. Let’s see if I can change that!
