Listen. I'm going to let you in on a little secret... I'm a big fan of WarioWare. Except (almost) all the games are for handhelds! I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm making very slow inroads with my dreams of making tiny screens hit the one you're looking at right now in an even remotely satisfying way... including the increasingly likely version of reality in which you're doing so on an entirely unrelated handheld screen!
So... there's that. There's a LOT of that. If you've stuck around here long enough and seen some of the weird multi-format videos I've been tinkering with, you might even already know. (Or not! Because I'm very particular and not especially decisive on how I might feel the results are shaping up!)
But I digress! THIS WarioWare is different! ...very, very different! Not only is it on a handheld... it's in HD! That you can slap onto a big screen! Or a small screen! Or... ... ... um, well, those are really the only two options. It's a hybrid handconsoleheld, not a magic screen space invader. (Or is it?!)
It's also very different in all the ways that are NOT immediately obvious, as the uncertain among potential victims try to awkwardly piece together what's going on, why they should like it, and why OTHER people can't get enough of it. Because they keep making them! Yesssss~!
With Nintendo games, you usually don't have to worry about any strange quasi-legal entanglements (except between the years 2015 and 2018! ...there's still a bunch of really weird nonsense strewn around my channel from THAT era, too!), but I personally think that a video is as long as its main idea allows it to be and doesn't need to be any longer... or shorter, depending on the form factor of the material within.
So that's my fancy way of saying "here's an intro video, I'll see you for some ACTUAL playable weirdness next time!
