Thunder Ridge is an area located in the land of Durotar, just southwest of Orgrimmar.

This gorge is untamed by humanoids. Thunder lizards give the place its name, dominating the landscape for some distance. Tallstriders are also seen hanging out on the fringes with an eye out for an easy lunch.

Fizzle Darkstorm has set up camp in the ridge along with a handful of his followers.

The Southfury River is likely Kalimdor's most prominent river. Beginning as a small stream in the highlands surrounding Mount Hyjal, it grows into a wide, swift-flowing river that forms the boundary between Ashenvale and Azshara, and further south, the border between the Barrens and Durotar where nasty creatures known as crocolisks patrol the waters. The river empties into the Great Sea in a cascading waterfall just northeast of the goblin port town of Ratchet.
