Tips for gaining resources:
Get the mill as a building - this will allow you to convert wood into resources with work orders
Farm treasures/rares
Get the followers Meatball & Conan. Meatball comes from Brawlers guild rank 5, Conan from Slagmines heroic.
They both double resource earned from a successful follower mission.
