Warning to Windows Users
brute force destruction of old stuff is occuring on updates
This may look like a minor thing, and if it does to you, then great, but the reality is this is a completely unwanted and dangerously destructive process.
I should add that i have been aware of this issue and alot more for a very long time.
If you rely on grandfather-father-son backups and heavily rely upon Date/ Time organisation you are literally fucked. Companies that work with more that a quarter of a million dollars in like an hour and use backups, servers etc, this shit could destroy you within 24hrs just by fucking up the wrong file..
Microsoft began destroying all support for older stuff when they re-coded windows for win10 from the ground-up as they say.
Things have been OK since Win10 1909
But now they have lost control. Windows 11 is essentially 2 different operating systems and i don't need anything after windows 7 , so microosft and the world can basically fuck right off.
I do not know what Windows 11 has this bug buit i have not seen 1 single post ever saying Windows 11 is great.
I have never ever needed to update any software or hardware for 40 years, with the exception of a few games that benefit from the occasional bug fix i literally have never needed any update bullshit
Fuk your future, Microsoft simply cannot be trusted with your files.
Want an example ?
The internet archive..
Yep, imaging how they hash check files so that 50 billion people uploading the same file just links to 2 or 3 storage locations for that file. obviously we don;t need a millions identicla copies of "thats what i call music CD 5" or whatever, at any point if one file moves to a folder, then moves, then another incoming file comes in, with the same name like "GTA-ViceCity-PS2.iso" it will inherit the old dat time stap not the new one. No problooem Internet archive has advanced systems and alot of cash, but for you at home - the average user, Well you probably don;t use has checks, check sums, and have offsite lcoatiosn aroudn the globe.
You just have your eyes and OH i create that file before this file, so i could delete the OLD and keep the new, completely unaware every file has inherited the random date time froma file that just so happened to exist in your registry from eyons ago and pooof you just lost 3 days progress
