Despite repeated attacks from Collective's VTOL and armored columns, Team Beta managed to capture NASDA central and destroyed all the Collective's AA sites in order to evacuate to the next zone. Meanwhile in the mountains, Gamma Team scouted the missile site and discovered that NEXUS is behind all this catastrophe. With all the VTOL tech acquired and AA sites destroyed, Team Beta will evacuate to the mountains to meet up with Team Gamma before the nuclear missile will hit the Urban Zone. Once they have arrived at the mountains, they established a forward base and link up with Gamma Team in order to destroy the missile sites. But NEXUS has other plans, they send its advanced AI forces and powerful laser mounted tanks to overwhelm humanity. To make matters worse, NEXUS has infiltrated the Project's base using the Intruder Program to control or destroy humanity's defense systems, vehicles and building. However, humanity managed to overcome these infiltrations and repeated NEXUS attacks by researching their synaptic link technology from the New Paradigm installation retrieved by remnants of Alpha Team. Now, they converge onto the missile sites where NEXUS defend it from humanity's attacks, even this, laser satellites firing everywhere, so they must abandon their bases and capture the silos as soon as possible.
