⚖ ️ Justice Power | The defense of Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, former aide-de-camp to former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), defended this Tuesday (September 2, 2025) the validity of the plea bargain agreement signed with the Federal Police (PF) and the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The lawyers maintain that the military officer did not actively participate in the coup plot and that his close relationship with the former president "only made his life worse."
Attorney Jair Alves Ferreira opened the oral arguments defending the legality of the plea bargain agreement. According to him, although Cid criticized members of the investigation, his plea bargain was voluntary and without coercion.
