Water Cooled R9 290 Vs Furmak + Benchmarks
10I made this video at the request of a viewer, to see how the R9 290 does when pushed to the limits with furmark. Now normally i wouldn't use this program to test for stability because it doesn't simulate how a game would push the graphics card as it pushes it above and beyond the work load that any game would. But while observing the card while under a stress test i noticed the card would throttle when i increased my overclock and higher than 1210 on the core and 1500 on the memory. And this is not due to temperature as my max temps after 15 minutes of furmark was only 57c. when using a lower overclock of 1210 on the core and 1500 on the memory the card refused to throttle. I found this very interesting as i feel that a solid core clock would out perform a higher overclocked card that throttled and when comparing this lower overclock to some of my results in my older benchmarks with a higher clock speed .that sometimes was the case. anyway i hope this video is useful to you and enjoy
