Wave defense strats: Day 0 turret yolo
The modern Wave Defense trend is to immediately run from the silo, taking turrets & ammo from the wall to bag enough nest kills for physical damage 3 & mining productivity 1. Then quickly die & largely ignore subsequent combat. In the current WR run rAzzlington respawns around 2:09 (though with MP2), and in the WR before that Anti respawns about 1:43.
I posit minor time saves for this strat:
1/ use the provided shotgun, it's free damage
2/ forget the approach turrets, small biters don't matter vs modular armor
Saving 20s seconds might matter if I could run the next 50m of WD as fast as rAzzlington or Anti do, if I'm intending to use this push, which I'm not. Time to get good at the rest of Wave Defense again, I guess.
