Factorio's wave defense scenario has a difficulty named "Hard". It is.

Compared to "Normal" difficulty the perimeter is tighter with less building space. Fewer turrets are provided, upgrade points are harder to get. Medium biters and spitters bring the possibility of unrecoverable damage on the very first night. It's a fun scenario, if that's what you like.
