Aarons chair reasoning's;
"I wanted to put this up front so you don't skip over it. Phil may indeed owe Owen a new chair. Let me explain. This topic actually goes all the way back to Season 1; listen to this for proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1REpaLDGbg#t=47m15s
Phil says, "If you get this correct, I will send you a chair." This was probably intended as a joke (because as Phil thought, Would You Rathers aren't supposed to have correct answers), HOWEVER, I can show this to be false. For most of Seasons 1 and 2, you asked emailers to guess which of two scenarios Owen would prefer. There are, in fact, correct answers to these questions (which you would know because Phil always got them wrong). That is, if Owen were asked "would you rather fuck a goat and no one would know or have everyone think you fucked a goat but you didn't?" obviously the correct answer is the former, because that IS his preference. So there is a correct answer and an incorrect answer to Would You Rather questions, depending on what Owen actually prefers. Phil's mistake was in saying he would give Owen a new chair if Owen got his own Would You Rather question correct. So basically, a third party member could get it correct or incorrect without truly knowing Owen's preference, but Phil's mistake was in making Owen both the respondent and the third party member.
Now, you could say there's no way of knowing whether or not Owen was correct or not for that Would You Rather question. The only solution to this, as I see it, is to ask Owen the same question again. If his answer corresponds to the same answer he gave last time, he was correct. If not, then Phil is exempt and does not have to give Owen a new chair. That way, you guys can settle this matter once and for all. Plus, a personal safety kit is no substitute for a good chair."
