Dear Everyone !
We're finally entering the last rush to our crowdfunding campaign for our Attack on Titan symphonic album.
It has been quite a tumultuous journey but I'm happy we managed to get through and to put a conclusion to this campaign.
As you might have noticed, we raised a significantly smaller amount compared to our Kickstarter.
It was expected, as the Kickstarter was cancelled and the hype around our Attack on Titan videos faded a bit.
In case you're not aware, we received a DMCA takedown notice from the largest Japanese music major. The DMCA is fraudulent and we have the necessary licenses to produce and sell this album but we unfortunately can't afford to fight the DMCA notice in court : it's too long and too much legal costs. Even if we win, it's not worth it, which is why we decided to create a new campaign as an easier solution to counter such DMCA.

Luck wasn't on our side and I also got my Facebook account hacked, which leaded to loosing the access to the Grissini Project Facebook account and to the shutdown of our Facebook ads account, which was a very steady way for us to reach you : even if you're following us, we have to put some ads money so you can see our posts in your feed.
I also manage to sort-of kaboom PayPal : access to our professional account was lost due to a major bug. A bug report has been issued by PayPal team but I still don't have access to the account and the potential finances for an ad campaign through google and such.
Which ultimately leaded the campaign to not encounter the same hype and funding. Some collector pack are still available actually !
I would also love to hear your feedback about the Flexible goal : was it clear enough that you'll receive your rewards even if the Flexible goal isn't reached ? I might be long to answer as I'm alone holding everything but I read all your messages, be sure I'll take care of it at some point. Transparency has always been important for me and I wanted to make our profitability threshold clear, it's important in regard of our audience expectation.
Soon, it'll be time for me to ask the factories to start pressing the CDs and Vinyls!
I'm very happy to announce Vinyl factories production delays are getting back to normal, around 3 months, which makes me hopeful for potential shipments earlier than September. I'll update you !
You'll also receive very soon the lossless digital album to download and a reminder to fix your name on how you want it to appear in the booklet 🙂
Utlimately, it'll also soon be time to leave Attack on Titan resting a bit and focusing on new projects. I'm eager to show you what we're preparing.
Despite the hard financial hit we got, our main focus will now be to maintain quality but at smaller scale to enhance quantity and more regular posting!
In the meantime, we keep touring with our Ghibli program and preparing some concert announcements with new programs ;)
