Aside from bosses, we will be spending the vast majority of our time in champion dungeons from now on. And perhaps even in long champion dungeons since we are being rewarded with ancestral items. And that is exactly what we do today. We go through a long champion dungeon in the cove in order to unlock the next veteran level boss, while also getting an ancestral item that raises our dodge by 15. That sounds amazing. We bring some heroes with extra scouting and damage in the cove due to their quirks as well as a flagellant for healing. Can I just say that the flagellant is a much better healer than I expected. Is he on the same level as a vestal? Probably not, but he certainly does well enough to suit our needs. The problem comes in the fact that we have two characters that primarily do damage through bleed, and the enemies in the cove are pretty resistant to it. We can slowly pick away at their bleed resistance, but it takes some time. It turns out fine though and we make our way through the dungeon leaving with plenty of loot.
