In this video, we talk about the notorious composite beds that are in Tacomas. The composite is great for a lot of things like the durability of not getting dented and rusting but the strength is the one thing it lacks. The Tacoma bedsides will bow out over time with added weight on them, such as a rooftop tent. Also, going off-road alone will create a lot of flex on the bedsides so having the added strength to stiffen the bedsides is a huge plus.
