Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is introducing a new class of weapon known as varaints. These are unlocked through XP, gun progression, and some randomly through supply drops. They are similar to the base weapon but vary in stats from range, reload, damage, or have locked in attachments that count for two in the Pick 13 system. This video will explain a bit more about these weapons.
