Samoa Joe reigns supreme again! The Samoan Submission Machine fended off perhaps his most toughest and hungriest challenger in Joshua Bishop as Joe defeated Bishop to retain the WEDF Championship. Bishop may have had the title won however, but thanks to some outside interference by Roman Reigns which was fended off by Shawn Michaels, Joe capitalized off a distracted Bishop to survive with the WEDF title. Now with the third CPV of Season 4, Night of Champions: Extreme Rules next on the schedule, who dares to challenge the Samoan Submission Machine?

The Best in the World might have met his match in Finn Balor. That's right, one of the biggest free agents signed with the Smackdown brand and called out CM Punk and his dictatorship and said he was going to re-establish the foundation that Bret Hart built with everyone fighting with honor and pride, not demanding respect and demonizing those who were injust. Punk attempted to strike first, but Balor managed to counter and followed up with the Coup de Grace on the Smackdown leader. Finn Balor will be in action tonight as he takes on Smackdown's newest superstar, Wade Barrett in which will no doubt be a battle of UK!

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield have had a very successful last couple of events. First, Ambrose and Rollins won the WEDF Tag Team Championships from The Dream Team and then successfully defended those titles against The Usos on RAW. But that's not all. Ambrose and Rollins then proclaimed the WEDF Tag Team Championships would be exclusive to Smackdown only! Ambrose and Rollins are also rumored to issue an open challenge tonight as well.

As for Roman Reigns, The Big Dog defeated a debuting Malik Brown in an impressive showing from the Leader of the Violence Party. Brown will issue some thoughts in an uncut promo that will no doubt shake up the WEDF locker room! Reigns success wasn't just off defeating Brown though, The Big Dog also took out Abyss backstage after being attacked by Abyss and Undertaker last Smackdown, and then defeated Danny Jackpot on RAW, which led to Danny Jackpot shockingly joining the Wyatt Family! Reigns has been really busy and that schedule doesn't get any easier as Reigns faces Shawn Michaels tonight in a grudge match from the interference that took place at Last Resort!

The Shield better not be keeping their eyes off the Brothers of Destruction: Kane, Abyss and The Undertaker though. While the Hounds of Justice believe that they dug the Brothers their grave of doom, you cannot kill what's already dead. Will we continue to see the mind games continue from the Brothers of Destruction?

Rey Mysterio continues to succeed in developing a foundation for the Cruiserweight division. Mysterio defeated Kalisto in a dream match to retain the title but arch rivals Cesaro and Sheamus of The Bar attempted to ruin Mysterio's moment only for Neville to make his main roster debut and save Mysterio from a 2 on 1 assault. Now the question remains, what are Neville's objectives, who is Mysterio's next challenger and how will the Bar respond? And how will The Bar deal with The New Day? Have The Bar made too many enemies?

Bobby Lashley looks to end his slump by facing Edge of Rated RKO. With losses to Randy Orton and CM Punk recently, is the pressure of trying to "Evolve" according to Triple H and Ric Flair of Evolution getting to the Dominator? And is Lashley at 100% after the assault he took last Smackdown? Are Rated RKO back on track and ready to take the locker room by storm again?

R-Truth is the new Intercontinental Champion and his new adversary and partner Curtis Axel, who is a heel hired for hire is making an impact on Truth's success. R-Truth now holds the Money in the Bank briefcase AND the Intercontinental title in his possession after defeating Evan Bourne to win the title at Last Resort. Tonight, R-Truth faces Zack Ryder, who has been very vocal of the way The Truth carries himself. Will Truth continue his big success?

Finally, the WEDF Women's 1st Round continues as Charlotte faces Paige! The winner advances to the 2nd round to face Lita!
