Based on the social media hashtag #WedNESday, I would sometimes do very short videos showcasing an NES game and host them on a mobile social media app. I decided to expand the reach of these videos a little and also post them to YouTube.

Today is Bionic Commando by Capcom. Another example of a game that I like more as an adult than as a kid, Bionic Commando is a game that really clicks when you figure out the grappling mechanic. This is a really unique game that has well designed levels based around the bionic arm's movement. You get a lot of shooting action, but this is all bolstered around a progress system that requires the player to continually find new items in order to tackle obstacles placed in front of them.
