WedSNESday: Let's Play Plok!
This week on WedSNESday, Luke & Matt jump into the weirdly disconnected boots of Plok! Questing for apparently no reason other than it's easier to risk your life against a disturbingly lethal nearby island than it is to replace an old flag. The NPCs talk about the game's mechanics, and it's oddly suggestive trees.
Plok is an action platformer developed in 1993 for the SNES and published by Activision/Tradewest. It tells the story of the story's protagonist, Plok - a resident of Akrillik Island in the region of Polyesta - and his quest to retrieve his "big square flag" from the Bobbins Brothers on Cotton Island, before other hijinx ensue. It was adapted from a cancelled arcade game called Fleapit, and features the music of Western game industry musical genius, Tim Follin.

Also Musashi is totally Jessie from Team Rocket. Ash was Satoshi and Luke should be ashamed.
WedSNESday is the Level 0 NPCs weekly series where we play one older game for one episode, just to relive the nostalgia and maybe make your hump day just a little bit more fun.
