Weekly Painting Progress- After the fireworks and barbecues!
85Hope everyone had a nice 4th, especially those of us in the states. Typed this up while the sounds of explosions still rock the suburbs around me. Our city has banned fireworks for the last 30+ years but that hasn't stopped people from going wild. Probably helps that the city a few blocks over still allows them.
I hurriedly finished up the few figures on my table that were close to finishing, as I wanted to get the food on the barbecue to properly enjoy the holiday- outside of the pandemic we're usually in Japan so we don't get to see the neighborhood going wild.
Sparkletrout's mix is almost as eclectic as mine this week. He finished up a an old Wrath of Kings hero for the Nasier, a Red Sonja style model from Lovecraft Designs, and a Duchies of Vinci assassin from One Page Rules.
Myself, I finished up a few Kingdom Death models, some misprinted Cobramode Hanzaki, a Dragon Trappers Lodge monkey, and finished up Khagra's Ravagers.
With my birthday coming this week, I'm switching up my Friday book videos and showing it Thursday instead. It was a reward for myself for sticking to all these book videos!
