Weekly Runs!!! - Week 34 - Runers - Ep. 1 - Frictionologist!
This week I am fortunate enough to play a game the devs sent me per my request. Week 34 features Runers and I have to say, it's quite addicting. At first glance it seems like a simple, though fast paced, top down shooter similar to The Binding Of Isaac, the old Gauntlet games, or something like Hammerwatch. However, as you get into it, you will see there is a lot under the hood. A ton of different combinations of different spells, different passive abilities, active abilities and a whole bunch more. The game is simple enough to just pick up and play, but you can spend a LONG time to master. The old Othello saying would work well here, "A minute to learn, a lifetime to master!" Also, if you enjoyed my run of this and want to see some more Runers action, check out Splattercat's LP of it.

My thanks to LGK Games for sending me a review copy of Runers! I've had a ton of fun with it and I keep coming back for more. I know I'm pretty bad at the game, but perhaps you can do better? If you want more info on the game, the developers, or want to grab it for yourself:
