I REALLY don't precisely know what happened here. I was just casually playing some GW2 before bed and I tried to mount/dismount while also interacting with a Koda's Flame in Bitterfrost Frontier. This somehow confused the game and both put me on, and off, my mount at the same time.

This effect, as demonstrated here, was not just cosmetic either. I had my mount's lunge along with most of my on-foot skills. I also lacked the ability to dodge and interact with things much like if you're on a mount.

After recording, I checked a couple other things, such as diving in the water (leading to the thumbnail image; my cat just stoically sunk without issue), and asking some folks in the area what they saw from my situation. To them, I was just on foot without a mount, but they definitely saw my weird mount lunge and apparently my little Asura went flying from their perspective!

I finally ended the glitch with a relog. But I'm glad to make a little recording of this insanity.

What I find coolest about this glitch is how naturally my character uses his bow from the saddle. It looks like intentional animation design.
