I've loved video games since I received my first Atari 2600 for Christmas as a kid in 1980. At the time Space Invaders was taking over the world and when I got the Atari version, I played it endlessly! Other Atari games that I loved included Adventure, Pitfall II, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Mario Bros., Solaris, Missile Command, Asteroids, Centipede, Warlords, and Star Wars The Arcade Game.

During Atari's dark times, I had transitioned to my Atari 400 computer. There I learned BASIC programming and spent endless hours entering games from magazines such as Antic, Analog, and Compute! Of course I played lots of cartridge based games like Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Pengo, Millipede, Star Raiders, Popeye, and Jungle Hunt (to name just a few.)

Then the Nintendo NES era was upon us and I was blown away by how accurate Super Mario Bros. was to the PlayChoice 10 system I would play in the arcade. My friends and I would play NES all the time and our favorite games were SMB, Contra, Super C, S.C.A.T., Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Double Dragon, Willow, Blades of Steel, TMNT 2, Legendary Wings, Battletoads, and on and on.

After that it was the Sega Genesis which I had to have after seeing Sonic The Hedgehog! I took it with my wherever I went so I could play games like Sonic, Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, Mortal Kombat I & II, Landstalker, Gaiares, TMNT, Castle of Illusion, and Bulls vs. Blazers. Since then I've come to love Streets of Rage 2, Alien Soldier, Steel Empire, the Thunder Force series, Rocket Knight Adventures, Castlevania Bloodlines, Contra Hard Corps, Road Rash 3, and on and on!

After that I got into other amazing gaming systems like the Sega Dreamcast, Atari Jaguar, Atari 7800, Super Nintendo, Turbo Grafx-16, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PS4 and everything in between. (Let's not forget how much I love arcade games and the Arcade1up systems!)
