1Two years ago, I vividly remember playing a demo of an interesting indie game, I even had a gameplay video up. I don't usually do survival games, in fact, I hate this whole genre and would usually never touch it at all. AND this game was supposed to be of the hardcore variety, it was supposed to be one of the hardest ones, but I somehow ended up having an enjoyable time.
Maybe it was the beautiful design of the game, the somber but cozy mood throughout, perhaps I found the story slightly interesting, maybe it was the Asian setting, or possibly it was just simply, the gameplay that got me.
