West of Dead is a rather charming twin-stick roguelite with gameplay mechanics that are a nod to other roguelikes in the genre. Some mechanics are really reminiscent of games like Dead Cells.

It comes into its own with the gameplay style, which slows down the action somewhat by giving a bunch of cover and allowing your menacing-looking character (voiced by the legendary Ron Perlman) to shoot from behind it.

I'm actually surprised it runs decently well on my PC (though you may not necessarily see it in the video as streaming tends to give my games a performance hit), considering the very stylised and dark aesthetic.

Note: this was streamed all the way back in June, so it is very likely that some issues (like the wonky-at-times camera) may have been fixed by then.
