39There are a lot of misconceptions about nuclear reactors and what an operating one looks like, so I have built a model reactor in SimpleRockets 2. This nuclear power plant actually behaves like a real nuclear reactor (minus a few of the more technical and niche interactions). In this video I take a nuclear reactor from a shutdown, subcritical state, to a supercritical state, bring it up to about 20% power, then maintain a stable critical power level.
