I did a couple of test to determine what resilience does in Destiny 2. Test 1 was the fall test, which was pretty simple to do. Go to a ledge that would cause fall damage and repeat for all resilience from 1-10. For Test 2 I went to a controlled environment and took damage from a Shank until I died. The difference between 1 and 10 resilience is somewhere around 8% difference.
