What EXACTLY is "Free Roam" and is it worth $30?
28When you buy a Switch 2, you can buy Mario Kart World included for $50. The title has an MSRP of $80. Quite the disparity. It's the same game - but you're getting it cheaper as a pack in.
After playing a couple of hours, I think I get the pricing. $50 of the price is really about the core MK racing mechanics (let's call it MK9) and something called "Free Roam" - an open world ... SOMETHING. The SOMETHING part is what I was curious about and if, essentially, it was worth the PLUS $30 prince on what would otherwise be a $50 game.
Note: There is only ONE version of the game that has both "MK9" and the "Free Roam" included. Sorry if there was any confusion that the game was $50 with a $30 paid DLC :D
