What games from the NES helped define me as a gamer? I've been playing and loving video games for decades, all the way back to the Atari 2600 and Colecovision. However, the first console that really impacted me was the Nintendo Entertainment System.

While this doesn't make me unique, gaming is a decidedly personal hobby, with games ranging far and wide from sports, to puzzle, to shooters influencing and impacting people. When I looked back at the NES, I focused in on five games that helped define my gaming habits then, and those that still impact me now.
