What happened to Taro? - Kena Bridge of Spirits
5I will be attending Pax East again this year and I am looking forward to discovering even more fun indie games. Leading up to Pax East I will be taking a look back at some of my favorite indie games.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a gorgeous indie game developed by Ember Lab. The environment and art design choices provide a rich world that you feel like you are exploring a Pixar world. Each of the characters that you are introduced to have their own personalities and back stories that make you fall in love with the game. Especially these adorable little Rot creatures that help you out and turn into a cult following you throughout the game. I played through on story mode to not be bogged down (or repeatedly killed) by the combat in the game. Those wishing for harder combat will find it enjoyable at the more difficult settings.
I am excited to play the game again, explore more of the world, and of course find as many adorable hats for my Rot creatures as I can.
