What does it mean when your ghost just suddenly stops hunting... about 40 seconds too early? You're just barely out of her grasps, running to a hiding spot and.... she just gives up. She decides it's not worth it to keep on hunting. Did she run out of battery? Did she decide she doesn't really want to kill us?

I'm fairly certain this is a phasmophobia bug. I'm not certain what causes it but it's plagued the game since it's release. Sometimes the ghost just decides it's tired of hunting and gives up. I play almost exclusively on Professional level (let's be honest... amateur is just so slow) so this hunt should have lasted about a minute. But instead... it lasted just barely 18 seconds. She just decided to give up.
