The Sage of Six Paths is the most influential Shinobi to ever exist. And though I sometimes question this, Naruto and Sasuke’s direct connection to him left them with essentially half of his powers. Indra and Asura, being the sons of the Sage of Six Paths, only inherited a little of his chakra. But that being said, everyone in the Senju and Uchiha lines inherited a little from him. That’s where the Sharingan comes from. That being said, It’s an interesting idea to have both Naruto and Sasuke inherit all of Hagoromo’s powers from the start. After all, this only requires them having Six Paths Senjutsu from the start, which Indra and Asura technically should have had, given Hagoromo was more than just one who had consumed a Chakra fruit (Via his mother), he was also the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, which is basically the living incarnation of Six Paths Senjutsu. So let’s use that as an explanation for now.
