This is a What-If that I never got around to finishing. My mistake. My mind just runs wild with so many stories sometimes that I forget some of the ones I never finished. Honestly, I should finish them, so if you have any stories that I’ve yet to finish that you want to see a conclusion to, remind me in the comments and I’ll see when I can finnish them. Anyway, this story was one where I threw Naruto into Akatsuki and decided to see where it went. As children, he grew close with Nagato, Yakiho, and Konan. And now, as an adult, he’s become a fairly successful shinobi. The four of them inspired the hearts of others and founded a new organization designed to bring peace. In the end though, that organization was targeted by those who feared their power, who did not want their peace. Led into a trap, Yahiko had found himself killed, and Naruto gravely wounded. What can be done now? Is this truly the end of the Akatsuki as we know it? Or will they rise like a phoenix out of the ashes and begin anew?
