What I'm Thankful For in 2016 pt 1 of 3
4I wasn't planning on doing anything, but today was a great day in terms of realizing how fortunate I am. Life has had many twists and turns, but 2016 has been an amazing year in ways that I couldn't predict.
It was a year of loss as both a roommate and my cat Gracie passed away - but also a year of great joy. Everyone at work offering me a cat, my first lead at Best Buy giving me a speech about how much he looked up to me, and most importantly - having Melissa back in my life. There's no single term I can use to describe her. She's a blessing, an inspiration, and someone that I look up to, look forward to chatting with, and cherish.
2016 has been an amazing year and one of the best in my life. It wasn't a year where every problem I've faced was solved - but it's been one where I've embraced me and that alone has helped a lot. Just being able to accept weaknesses for what they are and slowly change them has made me a better person.
