The Intel® Intelligent Storage Acceleration Library (Intel® ISA-L) contains a set of low level functions for data protection and integrity, compression, hashing and encryption. Intel ISA-L is highly optimized for Intel® architecture, and natively designed for software defined storage applications. It can run on multiple generations of Intel CPUs from Atom to Xeon.
