Tanisha Boramanikar from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, was the 8th seed at the MPL National Sub Juniors (under-16) 2022. She played excellent chess to gain 35 Elo points and finish on top of the table with 7.5/9.

Sagar Shah interviews Tanisha and together they see her best game from the event. Tanisha is a regular viewer of the ChessBase India livestreams and that surely helped her to keep in touch with chess as she also prepared for her board exams.

One of things that you will learn through this video is how Tanisha managed to win the national title. A lot of players do not feel confident when they do not work hard. The same was the case with her for this event as she hadn't been able to give her best in terms of the number of hours one needs to work on chess. However, there was something else that Tanisha did well - she took absolutely no pressure and this proved to be a gamechanger!
