What is the BEST park game?
16A special treat for you all today where I've compared park games for your viewing pleasure.
An analysis across 7 different categories of Jurassic World Evolution 2 (JWE), Prehistoric Kingdom (PK) and Planet Zoo (PZ).
I've looked into:
- CONCEPT of why you are asked to build a park and its relating story,
- GRAPHICS (which includes art style and optimizations),
- SOUNDS of the dinosaurs as well as ambient sounds and soundtrack
- the variation of DINOSAURS/ANIMALS
- GAMEPLAY difference looking into the management simulation aspects
- CREATIVITY and the tools at your disposal
- FUTURE POTENTIAL and what lies ahead for each game
Once you've compared all these Park Games I would place Planet Zoo as the best of the bunch with Jurassic World Evolution 2 being a let down based on what should have been a fantastic park game. Prehistoric Kingdom is just a no go as of May 2022 given its so early in its life but the jury is still out here based on future developments.
