What is the War In Heaven? Imagine a war that lasts a generation, a war that annihilates entire civilizations, a war that forever alters the destiny of a galaxy. When two Awakened Empires of opposite ethics declare war on each other that ignites a War In Heaven. Usually they happen mid-game around year 2400 and they can last well over a hundred years during a Stellaris Console Edition game. You can either join one of the Awakened, form together the League of Non-Aligned Powers or attempt to fight alone. If your fighting alone I recommend getting the Galactic Contender Perk that gives +33% Damage to Fallen/Awakened. A War In Heaven in my opinion is the funnest crisis to deal with.
