Hi guys! I already had the video about the Flying-V Project or Concept as you may call it... I filmed it before the RC model test flight. Some of the people wrote me that I am wrong and the Flying-V airplane flew, but no my friends, this is just an RC toy. If it flies it doesn't mean that the real airplane 1:1 scale model will fly. And I don't think that Flying-V may find it's place in commercial aviation at least this century... Boeing deputy already told about the disadvantages of flying wings for commercial operation. For me it is very clear that this futuristic project has no future.
Now we suffer the greatest aviation crisis in history. KLM announced to lay-off 1500 of employees AirFrance said about 6500 people who will lose their jobs by 2022. I think it is time to reduce the costs investing to this strange projects like Flying-V and invest more money for labor force, saving as many people as possible from unemployment. I am not the airline manager and I don't know many things, but I would not like to be one of those people who are up to lose their dream job. KLM has a great history! I hope that it will survive the crisis. And I also hope that they will change their mind about the money investment into nothing. It is Wrong time for Wrong Projects.
