It would've been so easy. Super Mario Odyssey is yet another 3D Mario game, and its design could've stayed in the series' comfort zone. But Odyssey's boss design and environmental design is so much more than that. Everything is in its place. Knucklotec in the Sand Kingdom, the Mechawiggler in New Donk City, and the Ruined Dragon in the Ruined Kingdom pair the bosses with their levels in a way the series has rarely done.
