What to Expect from Square Enix and Warner Bros Games at E3 2021 | E3 2021 Predictions (Sinhala)
393E3 will be back after the event's first ever cancellation in 2020, but this time as an online platform. Running from the 12th – 15th, E3 2021 already has a lot of hopeful eyes focused on it. Since last year's cancellation due to the global pandemic, studios have adapted and announced game after game through their own formats. WB itself has revealed several highly anticipated titles coming out over the next two years. All of which could have made stellar appearance had last year’s E3 gone as planned.
With this year’s event likely to go off with minimal interruption due to the online format, there is a lot that fans can look forward to. Several games could use some updates on where they are at in production, while others might just need the press time. Considering what WB has on its current publishing calendar, there is a few titles that feel particularly likely to show up at E3 2021.
There's no denying that the Dark Souls franchise has had a profound impact on the video game industry, essentially creating its own genre of game and inspiring numerous copycats. It seems as though Square Enix may be throwing its hat in the Soulslike ring soon, as a big rumor has pointed to the company having a Soulslike Final Fantasy game in the works, with it appears set to be announced at E3 2021 in a couple of weeks.
Square Enix will have a presence at E3, though it has not confirmed any dates for a press conference. Regardless, if the rumors are to be believed, one of the big announcements that Square Enix has in store for fans is Final Fantasy Origin, a Soulslike game set in the Final Fantasy universe. Apparently, Square Enix has recruited Team Ninja to work on the project, which makes sense considering the studio's success with its own Soulslike series, Nioh.
