1,303Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League finally launched worldwide last week, and to say the reception is mixed would be underselling it. Some love the combat, visuals and humor but acknowledge that the end-game, mission variety and overall story-telling leave them wanting.
This pattern isn't new with live service titles, but it especially pains fans of Rocksteady Studios. It's a developer that went from relative obscurity to near-legendary status with the Batman: Arkham series. From Batman: Arkham Asylum to the expansive Batman: Arkham City and gorgeous Batman: Arkham Knight, it's difficult to believe that the studio could fall this far.
