Honey I joined the cult, the cute and somewhat comical take on creating and managing your own cult organisation. Let's check out what we know so far leading up to release. Honey I joined a cult is your typical simulation game that is going to feel pretty familiar for fans of the genre. You are set to tasks in creating, sustaining and managing your own cult, from small details, such as costumes, names and styles of worship, all the way up to the buildings and roles of all the loyal followers that will join you. I say loyal, you know i mean indoctrinated! A little bit of hypnosis never went astray.
As with all simulation games, expanding your territory and numbers is the aim of thee game, and as you get larger, having to put your management and organisation skills to the test will be key to proceed. You will be given missions, by the ever present cult leader, and obtaining recruits with the right skills and resources will help in making everything go smoothly. You can even recruit people wandering past the headquarters. I wonder where they got that idea from?!
You will need to deal with problematic elements such as the press and police in honey i joined a cult, and when that's all said and done, you get to go and place a few pot plants and furniture to make it looks from the outside, to be a legitimate place of business and worship.
