What's up with my Storm OSD's GPS ?

Any Storm OSD users give any hints. The GPS was fine last week, and without any changes (other than putting the prop on properly) it suddenly can't get a single lock.

I checked out the GPS voltage is 3.3v, and the led on the Storm flashes to indicate it's getting something from the GPS (but clearly nothing useful)

Has a suggestion of putting a ferrite ring on the cable - I can do that, but anyone else experienced weirdness like this ?
