Welcome to Atlantis Rocks—an indie animated series that’s redefining what it means to make waves in animation! Imagine the absurdity of SpongeBob SquarePants with a grown-up twist, paired with the sharp wit of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the heartfelt character arcs of My Name is Earl. This satirical comedy is set in the fictional underwater town of Los Sandeles, where disasters have piled up like trash, and one sanitation worker, Fleming (voiced by Coty Galloway), decides to clean up his life—and the town—one crazy encounter at a time.
This project is more than just a fun concept—it’s the product of an incredible community effort. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign and additional private financing, Atlantis Rocks went from dream to reality, proving the power of independent animation. And with the budget we were able to make this presentation that introduces the characters to the world.
But what truly sets Atlantis Rocks apart is its all-star cast and creative team. Featuring the legendary Phil LaMarr (Kung Fu Panda 4, Futurama) as Earl, a rambling yet lovable catfish with hidden wisdom; the phenomenal Tara Strong (Loki, Guardians of the Galaxy) as Cora, a witty and independent Dolphinian (an evolved dolphin); and the dynamic Vico Ortiz (Transparent, Our Flag Means Death) as Ben, a nervous and overly analytical albacore tuna. The cast also includes Olan Rogers (Final Space) as Manny, Dan Brumm (Bluey), Sophia Thomas, Valory Pierce, Bailey Galloway, and Da’Jonte Phillips, who all bring their unique energy to this underwater world.
Behind the scenes, the talent is just as impressive. Swedish cartoonist/animator Daniel Arruda Massa brings the visuals to life, while composer Davis Harwell delivers an unforgettable score.
Post-production is handled by Folklore Sound, the team behind the Disney hit Bluey, ensuring every sound and scene is polished to perfection.
The voice acting captured by our amazing sound recordist Ethan Walter.
And the talented staff writer T.B. Cooper.
