When a Wuthering Waves player Criticizes Genshin Impact
5,704The reason I feel like war tends to happen between the two games is because there are too many things taken out of content and taken too harshly. If someone says that they like Wuthering Waves more than Genshin Impact, or tries to explain why they don't like the story of Honkai Star Rail or why they aren't a fan of Zenless Zone Zero combat, someone who plays that game tends to get offended and feels like they are PERSONALLY attacked.
There is nothing wrong with having a favorite game, and there is nothing wrong with offering fair criticism to a game that you don't like and feel like could be better. Unless your intention IS TO SPECIFICALLY ATTACK that community, (which I feel like that typically is not the case) there should be no issues with offering your perspective on what is good or what is not great about a game. Gacha tribalism will never go away, but things can be taken way too seriously, to where people pull out metaphorical guns on eachother lmfao.
