My first experience with the Max Payne series was ironically it's final part. During the steam sale I bought the first two games for dirt cheap to check out it's origins. I was very pleasantly surprised to realize how revolutionary this game was for it's time. The gunplay and atmosphere are still amazing even to this day and it might have introduced one of the best trilogies in gaming.
